“how it feels to start a new hobby”
A quick video I made while learning how to sync audio from multiple sources. The video starts off with me complaining about learning a new skill, and then dives into the feeling of frustration with not being immediately good at something. The video is compiled of various clips I had captured from the time of filming.
The editing process of this video included compiling the clips together, some light color grading, audio syncing from multiple sources of audio, and some fun light vfx effects

A quick video about the feeling of day 1 nicotine withdrawals and how overwhelming it feels to give up something you use on a daily basis that has such a massive hold on your life. I made this video as a way to distract myself from that specific feeling one morning before I had to go to work.
This video was loosely planned before I started rolling on it, but was mostly just made up of shots that I found interesting as a way to test various ideas I had floating around in my head at that time. It was written, shot, edited, and uploaded within a 4 hour period, and to this day I am still very proud of how it came out, I like everything that I did here. I wanted the video to have a sort of “fly on the wall” feel, while also mimicking the feeling of withdrawal in the camera work.
The editing process consisted of audio syncing from multiple sources, some light color grading, as well as use of transitions. But was mostly focused on having shots that I felt looked and worked well together.

“how it feels to quit nicotine”
Another quick video, this one being about the relaxation that comes from indulging in the use of marijuana. As a way to sort of help me mitigate my cravings from nicotine use, i started smoking more again. This video was mostly made because I think it’s fun to contrast something about weed with a jump scare. This video pulls from a lot of the same ideas the last 2 had going on which is why I like the 3 of them next to each other. They’re “weird” and “off-putting” in a way that I really enjoy.
The editing here was a bit more effect heavy, I wanted to play around with masking and what not. But again has audio syncing, and color grading as well.

Commentary Style Videos
“Waxheads Is F@#$%&! Awesome”
This video was the first “real” video game review I’ve done in many years. I had fully planned it all out in advance before making it which included Script Wrtiting, some light Storyboarding, obviously finishing the game, and even some animation work. This is the video I am the most proud of creating as of recently as it really came out exactly how I envisioned it. The content of the game was something that I am heavily passionate about (Vinyl Records and the culture that surrounds being a collector). It’s got a lot of laughs, skits, and informative knowledge on the game itself.
The editing process of this video included thumbnail design, script writing, acting, lots of skit creating, animating my self in the style of the game that I am reviewing (I made a skit here where i put myself into the game as a customer of the record store and made it flow as if it were really in the game), as well the usual color grading, audio syncing of multiple sources, lots of camera work here as well, capturing gameplay footage, animating icons, and use of external music.
This video rulez and I think does a very good job of showcasing my editing and video making style and skills as well as my day to day personality. I love this one immensely.

“you can make your own ‘Criterion Edition’ custom cases”
This video is 1 part skit/commentary silliness and also 1 part actual informative tutorial. I became obsessed with the Criterion Collection over the last couple years and have been building a modest collection of their physical film releases. So I had this idea that it’d be fun to make your own version of them with other movies in your collection to fit that same template and shelf look//aesthetic. This video starts off with a skit where I mimic Criterion’s famous “closet” videos and then breaks down into the actual explanation and tutorial part, wrapping up nicely with a skit about how the Criterion Closet is its own version of the “Backrooms” that I stuck//lost in before being blown up by the creeper on the cover of the cover of the Minecraft movie.
The creation process of this video included, Thumbnail Design, Script Writing, Storyboarding, Green Screen Chroma Keying, Audio Syncing, Color Grading, some light Sound Design, External audio for SFX and bg music, Screen Capturing, and some real life actual graphic design (This is a graphic design tutorial after all).
All in all I am also very proud of how this video turned out, it furthers my editing/videography style more, and also does a great job showcasing my personality to even more catatonic extent!

“Work in Progress” Videos
“How to Make: Chips’n’Salsa”- a short film
“How to Make Chips’n’Salsa” is a sort film that I wrote back in April of 2026. This version of it is a “rough draft” so-to-speak that I was working on throughout May-July of 2026 before I had to move out of the apartment I was living in at that time, which is why this version remains unfinished. All that being said I feel it was a good first attempt at getting my feet wet and starting to put this beast together, there’s a lot that will be getting reworked when I attempt to work on it again. But during this process I had a lot of shot work that I was really happy with, along with some cool sound design, and VFX work going on.
It starts off with a voice over and scenes playing along with it, all the black space is stuff I hadnt yet filmed. It’s fairly cohesive up until after the dream sequence//converstation in the kitchen. The last clip was something I had been editing together in the timeline and would actually play much later in the short film.
All in all I like the way this was coming together, but I’m very excited to rework and reshoot it. After all the time away from this project I can freshly see the things that work and the things that don’t.

“fal’cie - sleep//happening Music Video”
I decided it’d be a fun idea to make a music video for my old dead band because we never made one when we were active. In November 2026 we will have been broken up for 10 years so the timing is great. I picked our most popular song as the one for the video because of obvious reasons.
At this point I am about halfway done with shooting it, all the black/blank space is going to be filled in with shots done in my apartment singing along and doing some mixed media animation over top of that. I just havent gotten there yet. But I still wanted to have this up for the purpose of showing what I’m working on in the background.
