As seen in my “Make your own Criterion Editions” video, recently I’ve been having a lot of fun with making custom Criterion Collection Blu-Ray Cases.
I designed a template around the look of their cases and tried my best at matching the fonts they use. Here are some of the custom cases I have put together.

(will be updating as I make more of them)

the video again to see the process of what I was doing here.

The Minecraft Movie

A custom case for the Minecraft movie, done in a more simplistic approach as this was originally made as a goofy joke for my friends and YouTube Shorts.

For this I made the outside artwork from promotional art for the official release of the movie as well as some pixel art that resembled Minecraft type aesthetic.

The inside art is from promotional art as well (inside art I didn’t do anything to other than sizing it to fit the empty case).

All of the information written on the backside is pulled directly from the official Blu-Ray release of the movie. I also added the Mojang Studios logo to the logo spread at the bottom of the case.

Crimes of the Future

A custome case for the film “Crimes of the Future”. This one had much more work put into it than the previous minecraft one did.

The poster used for the main cover art here is from an official alternative poster from the release of the film, I’ve always loved the look of this specific poster so I themed everything around it. I had to add in a Title Logo from chopping up and re-arranging an official logo. The backside artwork was made from mixing and blending various digital textures I have saved to flow with the look of the specks and texture on the main cover art, I personally think it came out really well. All of the information listed on the backside is pulled directly from the official Blu-Ray release of the film. I also added the NEON Studio logo to the logo spread at the bottom of the case. All of the colors for text and solid elements were pulled directly from the pallette of the cover art.

The inside art used here again is an untouched piece of promotional art, the only modification I made was putting it to size for the custom case.
